Sheridan Commission OKs Amendment for CSBG Program

During their recent regular meeting the Sheridan County Commission ratified an amendment to the contract between the county and the Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division, concerning the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program.

According to the agreement provided by the county, it was explained that in the original agreement the county “was to provide funding and oversight for of the CSBG program in the county to assist low-income individuals and families and supportive services that empower them to overcome the effects of poverty and to support their progress toward greater self-sufficiency” for a contract amount of $233,287.

The current amendment will increase the total contract amount by $5,875 for a not-to-exceed amount of $239,162.
