Cameron Duff has been named as the new Administrative Director for Sheridan County.
In a release from the county commission, it was announced that Duff would replace Renee Obermueller who will retire after eighteen years of service.
Duff has served as the Library Director of the Sheridan County Public Library System since 2010.
He is active in the community and is a director on the Whitney Benefits Board of Directors.
Duff also holds a Master of Arts in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri.
In the release Commission Chairwoman Christi Haswell said, “We are excited to have (Duff) join us as our new Administrative Director. (He) has been working with the County and building relationships with our communities since 2010 as the Library Director and we look forward to working with him in his new role.”
With his new appointment, Duff said, “On behalf of myself and my family, I want to thank the Commissioners for this wonderful opportunity to step into the role as the new Administrative Director. I am the first to acknowledge how challenging this role will be; however, I am thrilled to utilize my educational and work history to assist the County in a new way. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work alongside Renee to learn as much as I can before her retirement.”
Duff will assume his new position as of April 24.
