Help SAR by giving them a starting point

March 23, 2023

News – Sheridan Media

A quick search of the statistics for Search and Rescue information displays blue dots showing the area lost or injured individuals have been found in the Bighorn Mountains.

It’s a common occurrence, and Search and Rescue personnel are both trained and effective at their duties. While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez, said that no matter the reason for heading up the mountains, there is something that everyone can do to help their chances of being found should they become lost or injured on the mountain.
