Sheridan Commission Approves Wildland Fire Management Plan

At the recent Sheridan County Commission meeting, they considered the 2023 Wildland Fire Management Annual Operating Plan, as presented by Sheridan County Fire Warden Chris Thomas.

Thomas said the annual agreement is brought before the commission at this time of year for their approval, explaining it is the operating plan between the cooperating agencies in Sheridan, Johnson, and Campbell Counties, and gave more details on the agreement.

The commission voted to approve and accept the operating plan for the coming year.
