JCHC Gets New Designation on Trauma Center

During their recent regular meeting, the Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center were notified that the facility has been given a new classifiation on their Trauma Center, according to a survey by the State Board of Health.

Board President Dr. Mark Schueler explained further.

Schueler said the BOH will be forwarding information to local media to inform the public further on what that designation means.

CEO Luke Senden also praised the facility’s new trauma designation.

Senden added that he believes the JCHC has met those metrics for quite some time but the survey has finally recognized what the facility has been working hard to accomplish.
