Sheridan Deer Management Archery Program Continues For 2023 Hunting Season

The Sheridan Police Department would like to take this opportunity to inform area residents that the Deer Management Archery Program implemented by the City of Sheridan in 2007, will be continuing for the 2023 hunting season.

All parties interested in bow hunting within the city limits must first register in person at the Sheridan Police Department.

Any member of the department can assist residents with this registration.

The Deer Management Archery Program is a bow hunting only opportunity and people choosing to hunt privately owned land must first secure permission from the landowner.

Additional information regarding what areas within the city limits are open for bow hunting can be provided when one registers.

Remember, all Wyoming Game and Fish Regulations apply to the Deer Management Archery Program.

This program is important as it helps maintain a healthy deer population and helps mitigate deer conflict with people, pets and property.
