Sheridan County’s Commissioners, during their last regular meeting, considered Resolution 23-08-017, which is Budget Amendment #2 for Fiscal Year 2022-23.
The necessary amendment was explained further by County Administrative Director Cameron Duff.
According to the Resolution, adjustments made in operating expenses in the Employee Health Benefit Fund to appropriate $8 million in unanticipated plan fees; over budget expenses of $3,807 for the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) for state administration fees; adjustments in operating revenues in the General Fund for an additional $829,000 from the 1% Optional Tax transfer; adjustments to the 1% optional Sales Tax Department to lower actual expenses by $373,000 and lower unanticipated revenues by $20,000; and adjustments in Grants Revenue to lower actual unanticipated grant revenues by $297,627.
The resolution was passed by vote of the commission.
