Brodie Bates placed 2nd in the bull riding and Joseph Priebe placed 4th in the saddle broncs to help the Sheridan College men’s team place 8th at the Pat Hamilton Memorial Rodeo at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds.
Through 3 rodeos into the season, Priebe is in 7th place overall.
Wyatt Phelps along with Bates are 3rd and 4th respectively in bull riding.
The top 3 in the standings when the season ends in late April, qualify for the College National Finals Rodeo.
For the women, Maci Dehaan tied for 7th and Hatten Kleemann placed 10th in barrel racing, while Sierra Hilgenkamp tied for 8th in the breakaway roping.
Hilgenkamp is currently in 6th place overall.
The next scheduled rodeo is Friday thru Sunday, October 6th through the 8th at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne.
