JCSD1’s Johnson Receives Award From WSBA

During the regular Johnson County School Board meeting this week, outgoing Chairperson Jan Johnson was presented with an award of recognition from the Wyoming School Board Association.

Superintendent Charles Auzqui made the presentation and Johnson spoke briefly after she was given the award.

According to Board member Kristen LeDoux, who recommended the nomination of Johnson which was eventually approved by the remainder of the trustees, the Champion of Education Award is for those who have made an outstanding contribution to the improvement of education in their local district.
