Sheridan County’s Commissioners tabled a decision on adopting changes to rules and regulations concerning the leasing of county-owned property at the county airport.
Amendments to the provisions that were recommended by the public were implemented into the new draft of the document.
The amendments made added “consulting with economic development professionals as needed,” as well as specifically addressing making proposals available for public review, as explained by Airport Manager Robert Gill.
Paul Caldarra gave comment at the meeting, saying he positively viewed the amendments to the draft document, and had some suggestions in addition to them.
There were requests for the commission to table the decision to allow review of the suggestions, which Commissioner Holly Jennings agreed with.
The commissioners voted to table the decision until their meeting on February 6.
