The Sheridan WYO Rodeo board of directors has announced the theme for the Sheridan WYO Rodeo 2024 is Boots, Roots and Rodeo.
The Sheridan WYO Rodeo parade will be taking an alternate route for the second year in a row in 2024.
According to a release from the board of directors, with Main Street construction to be completed by Rodeo Week, July 8th – 15th, the parade route will again include Main Street, with a new twist or “turn” to include Brooks Street. The new route will begin on North Main Street and head south, turn right on Works Street and then head north on Brooks Street.
“The main reason for the change is the amount of space that Brooks Street provides for participants as well as the spectators. We had a lot of positive feedback last year utilizing Brooks Street,” WYO Rodeo board member and parade coordinator Brandy Campbell said.
The Parade Theme for 2024 will be “Boots, Roots and Rodeo”.
Parade information and entry forms are now available on the website at www.sheridanwyorodeo.com. Entries must be received by June 28.
