The Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center, at their recent meeting, were given an update on the new Senior Life Solutions program by CEO Luke Senden.
Senden said the program will be in place this month with patients beginning to be seen soon.
According to psychmc.com,“Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of adults (typically 65 and older) who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges that can sometimes be age-related. (The program) partners with hospitals to help their communities increase access to behavioral healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and therapists.”
Senden also reported that they have had some good interviews with candidates for the chief financial officer position and are expected to schedule on-site visits with a number of candidates in the coming weeks.
He reported that there will be a couple of new surgeons starting at the facility in the near future.
