Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved the cancellation of personal property taxes that have been deemed uncollectible.

County Treasurer Katie Araas made the request to the commission about the tax cancellations.

Commission Chair Nick Siddle commented on the uncollectible taxes.

The commission approved the cancellation of just under $489,000 in uncollecible personal property taxes.
