During their last regular meeting, the Johnson County School Board reviewed and then approved the district’s plan for using ESSER III (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief) Funds for the coming school year.
District Superintendent Charles Auzqui explains further.
According to discussion at the meeting, the district will be spending roughly $506,000 which will be the last of the ESSER funding from the federal government, but not the last the board will be hearing the term ESSER, according to Auzqui.
The board voted to approve and accept the ESSER III Committee report.
