The Sheridan Pilots Association announced the annual Airport Open House, Fly-In and Air Show will take place on Saturday, August 24 from 9 am to 1 pm. Admission to the event is free and attendees can enjoy a complimentary pancake breakfast from 9 to 11 am before the airshow begins at 11. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs for the airshow and will have the opportunity to explore aircraft and automobiles up close, as well as meet local pilots.

Sheridan Pilots Association President Justin Heid said they are once again excited to welcome the community to the event and it is a great opportunity for families to come out and experience the world of aviation up close and personal. Heid added that there are so many local pilots in the community who are thrilled to share their passion with the public.

For those planning to fly-in and join the fun, Sheridan County airspace is closed from 11 am to 1 pm the day of the event. Please plan accordingly and visit the Sheridan Pilots Association website for details on transient aircraft parking.
