U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, spoke on the Senate floor Tuesday about the crisis at the southern border. Barrasso discussed how the Democrats’ open-border policies have allowed violent gangs to terrorize communities across the country. The Senator highlighted how one suspected gang member was recently imprisoned in Laramie County, Wyoming.

Barrasso said that incentives were offered to illegal immigrants.

Barrasso closed his remarks by saying Senate Republicans have real solutions,  finish the wall, end catch and release, and restore the Remain in Mexico policy, a policy that worked. Barrasso said their solution also includes deporting illegal immigrants and stopping illegal immigrants from voting in our elections.
