Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader, during the city council’s meeting Tuesday, made a proclamation setting this Friday, November 8 as “Poppy Day” in Buffalo.

Mayor Schrader asked that Buffalo’s citizens pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom by wearing the Memorial Poppy on Friday.

After signing the proclamation, Mayor Schrader presented it to Edie Taffner and Sharon Soul, representing the American Legion Auxiliary.
