The partial fire restrictions in Sheridan County that were implemented on July 9, 2024, were lifted Tuesday, allowing for careful, open burning once again. The announcement came in the form of a media release from the Sheridan County Commissioners. County officials strongly advise caution, as weather conditions can change rapidly.
