Council to Consider Policy Updates

Updates to the City of Sheridan Employee Handbook and the City’s Drug and Alcohol Plan will be considered at the Sheridan City Council business meeting Monday night. City Human Resources Director Heather Doke presented the updates to the Council and Mayor at a study session last month. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger.

The Council will consider second reading of an ordinance adopting the 2024 International Code Council Building Code Family that includes the International Fire Code, International Building Code, International Fuel and Gas Code, International Mechanical Code, International Existing Building Code, and the International Plumbing Code.

The Council will also receive updates from SAGE Community Arts and the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority. The meeting will take place at 5:30 pm Monday in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
