Buffalo Mayor thanks residents for coming together in 2024

The Mayor of Buffalo reflected on the 2024 year and the projects accomplished by the City and others during the year. 

Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader took a moment to look back on the 2024 year throughout the city. The high points for the Mayor this year included the Wyoming Department of Transportation Main Street refurbishment project and the many gatherings that Buffalo is known for holding.

After the Johnson County producers and agricultural community suffered heavy losses during the 2024 wildfire season, Schrader said he witnessed first hand the strength and compassion residents showed to each other. Schrader said of all the places he has lived, he is very proud to call Buffalo home and wanted to thank residents for coming together during hard times.

Going into 2025, Schrader is looking forward to finishing long term projects such as the Main Street project, the Buffalo Wells project and meter upgrades to the City’s water system.
