On April 4^th 2024, Sheridan Media posted a release from the Sheridan County Attorney’s office regarding an arraignment for Timothy Zalinger of Palmer, Alaska.  It turns out the case actually involved a stolen identity.

Levi Hart of Montgomery County, Kansas who had multiple outstanding felony warrants was arrested by Alaska State Troopers arrested last May.  He apparently had used Mr. Zalinger’s driver’s license for a number of other incidents including a collision in Montana that involved a stolen van. 

Authorities there have confirmed that Mr. Zalinger was not involved in these incidents.

Sheridan Media regrets any inconvenience our report has caused to Mr. Zalinger.
