Schools on Two Hour Delay Due to Weather

Due to inclement weather, Sheridan County School District No. 2 will be on a two hour late start schedule tomorrow, Thursday, January 23.  All buses will be running regular routes and operate 2 hours later than the normal schedule.

According to Superintendent Chase Christensen, SCSD#3 will operate a 2 hour late start today, January 23, 2025. Highways 14 and 16 remain closed due to the closure of I-90. Bus routes will run with the same 2-hour delay.

Superintendent Jeff Jones of SCSD#1 announced, “We have winds of 40 – 50 mph forecasted over-night. This will very likely cause problems for our buses until the roads can be plowed. Knowing that now, and to help you plan accordingly, we will have a two-hour delayed start on Thursday, January 23rd at all schools in SCSD#1.
