Johnson County Sheriff Rod Odenbach came before the county commission at their meeting this week, to have them consider approving a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the county and the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
He gave the details to the commission on what the MOU is for.
Odenbach said the current fingerprint machine has come to the end of its normal life and DCI wants the county to replace it.
Commissioner Bill Novotny asked the sheriff to explain how the machine can used by the community.
A small fee is charged by the sheriff’s office when community members come in to be fingerprinted, according to Odenbach.
