SCLT to utilize their new property to the benefit of landowners and community

Sheridan Community Land Trust Executive Director made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse in part to discuss the purchase of the facilities and land that have been utilized by the organization.

With the purchase, SCLT can now expand their use and development of the property to showcase the many components of their mission. Bauer said the purchase of the land was not something the organization originally intended, but the opportunity to utilize the land was too good to pass up.

The property will also be used to test certain conservation techniques and if local landowners can use those techniques to their advantage. But it’s not all work and no play for SCLT.
