Sheridan Commission OKs Letter of Support for Gulch Road Water Line

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have ratified a Letter of Support for the Sheridan Area Water System Joint Powers Board (SAWSJPB) in their application for funding for a water transmission line.

According to the letter, the Board of County Commissioners support the application for funding and construction of an 8-inch water transmission line on Gulch Road from a Mineral Royalty Grant, and an application for a loan to the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.

The letter explains that the water line will connect to the Northeast Water Transmission Main to be constructed in 2025, which will serve several properties due to a contaminated groundwater source for these properties to provide safe, potable water for the residents.
