The dates for a number of community clean up events in Sheridan were recently set by City officials. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
During their recent business meeting, the Sheridan City Council approved a resolution setting the dates for this year’s annual Trees for Trash, Community Cleanup Day and the fall Free Landfill Day. Trees for Trash and the Community Cleanup day will be Saturday, May 3, and the fall free landfill day is set for Saturday, September 27. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts.
Roberts said these community minded events offer both City and County residents an opportunity to clean-up and beautify their surroundings without having to incur the cost of waste disposal.
