Sheridan Commission Approves Depositories for Public Funds

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved a Resolution designating the depositories to be used for public funds.

At their regular meeting this week, the commission approved Resolution No. 25-03-005, which lists the banks where public funds will be held from the county, including from the Sheridan County Airport, Library System, and the Fair Association.

Those are First Federal Bank & Trust; First Interstate Bank; First Northern Bank of Wyoming; Security State Bank; and Wells Fargo Bank, National Association.

The Resolution further authorized the county treasurer or a designated deputy to invest Sheridan County funds in approved financial institutions or brokerage houses within the county and/or with with the Wyoming State Treasurer-WYOSTAR, Wyoming Class and Wyoming Government Investment Fund.
