The Sheridan County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) have opened the application process for organizations to request General Purpose Excise Tax (GPET) funding for Fiscal Year 2025-26.
Applications can be found on the county website, and will be accepted through Wednesday, April 30.
The General Purpose Excise Tax, also known as the Optional One-Cent tax, is a sales and use tax that is collected and then allocated to organizations by the BOCC.
