Zoning Ordinance Up for Third and Final Reading

The Sheridan City Council at their business meeting Monday night will be considering third and final reading of Ordinance 2287 that amends the current M1 zoning district to add heavy industrial uses to the list of uses requiring a Special Exemption by the Board of Adjustment, and adds a new M2 zoning district that would allow for light and heavy industrial uses with no special exemption required.

The City Council will also be considering a resolution that would authorize the governing body to grant Special Exemptions to M-1 property owners with an existing heavy industrial use that would be impacted by the adoption of Ordinance 2287. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger.

The City Council will also receive updates on the trails and pathways and code compliance. The Council will meet Monday, at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
