Hub on Smith Volunteer Coordinator Marcie Morrow and Director of Development Ryan Koltiska made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to thank all of the volunteers that make the Hub run and ensure Sheridan’s seniors are honored.

April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month and the Hub relies on 450 volunteers giving more than 20,000 hours of time each year. These selfless volunteers range in age from 12 – 99 years old, and does include local businesses.

To help show their appreciation, the Hub on Smith will be holding the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast.

But the Hub and its many volunteers also serve the surrounding Sheridan County communities. Morrow took time to thank all of the many residents who give their time to ensure that those clients are taken care of through the home delivered meals and other programs. The week will give the Hub staff opportunities to go to those locations and show their appreciation.
