Game and Fish speak on season setting schedule

Wyoming Game and Fish Department Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse and reported a strong turnout for the recent Season Setting Meetings held throughout the Game and Fish Sheridan District.

The comment period for the public ended on April 2. But if members of the public or sportsmen and women wish to view the proposals that will be brought before the Commission, Schmidt said they are all on the Game and Fish website to view.

The Game and Fish Commission will meet April 22 and 23, to discuss the proposals as well as the comments submitted by the public. At the conclusion of the meeting, the season will then be set. 

For hunters who have already submitted an application, Schmidt said there is an option to make changes after the Commission sets the season.
