The director for one of the nonprofit agencies that receives GPET funds from the City of Sheridan, provided an update on the agency at this week’s Sheridan City Council meeting. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue Executive Director Rachel Kristiansen, during her update to the Council and Mayor Rich Bridger, said they had a total of 190 strays come in last year.

Kristiansen said the stray intake last year was up 33 percent from the previous year.

Kristiansen also talked about the adoption numbers for 2024 during her presentation. We’ll have that information for you in an upcoming story.
