Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett announced during the recent city council meeting that the department will be involved in a fundraiser for the high school later this month, which the community can be involved in as well.
He tells us more about “Bowl With the Blue.”
Bissett also reported there were 2,511 calls during March, with 553 incidents responded to by officers.
He said they have several active investigations happening that he hopes to report back to the council on, and that it was a busy month for their child protection team.
He also said with the construction happening downtown, officers are performing extra patrols in the area.
