News – Sheridan Media
The University of Wyoming’s School of Energy Resources (SER) has selected projects for funding after considering faculty-led proposals on nuclear-related research aimed at advancing Wyoming’s full fuel cycle and building continued capacity in the nuclear energy sector.
That is according to a release from the university shared by Chad Baldwin, Vice-President of Marketing and Communications with the university, who was a recent guest on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program.
Baldwin said the nuclear industry will continue to be important to the State of Wyoming moving into the future.
He talked about how the university is doing their part to help bolster the industry in the state.
Baldwin said the state will likely look at other nuclear projects in the future, depending on how successful the current project is in Kemmerer.
