Jo Co Commission Sets 2025-26 Budget Dates

Johnson County’s Commissioners, at their meeting this week, discussed the 2025-26 budget and set the dates for hearings, final bill pay, and final adoption as well as giving budget directions to the county departments.

The commissioners set their final bill pay deadline as Tuesday, June 24 from 9 to noon.

Budget hearings were set on June 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 17, 18, and the 23 and 24.

The commission set budget hearings for the special districts on July 7 and 8.

The final adoption of the 2025-26 Budget was set on their traditional date of the third Monday in July, this year falling on the 21 at 9 a.m.
