Buffalo Council OK’s Funding For Children’s Center

The Buffalo City Council considered awarding $10,000 in emergency funding to the Buffalo Children’s Center (BCC) during their recent meeting.

Mayor Shane Schrader gave more details on the requested funding.

At an earlier county commission meeting, New BCC Director Brittany Scott discussed the need for the emergency funding.

Scott said the emergency funding will keep the doors open so they can continue to serve the community and its children.

The award from the city council comes after an award of $10,000 was made by the Johnson County Commission during their meeting earlier this month.
