Sheridan County Clerk Announces Budget Meetings

Sheridan County Clerk and Budget Officer Eda Schunk-Thompson, during the county commission’s recent meeting, announced the dates for the upcoming budget sessions and gave other pertinent budget-related information.

She gave more details.

Thompson said the purpose for the special meeting is for elected officials and department heads to discuss their requested budgets with the commission.

All elected officials, department heads, and the media are encouraged to attend the special meetings, she said.

Schunk-Thompson also announced that a copy of the proposed budget for the public to view will be available in the Clerk’s Office after the special meetings.
