VOA Gives Update to Jo Co Commission

Volunteers of America of the Northern Rockies (VOA) recently came before the Johnson County Commission to give the latest quarterly update on their services and how it is working in the community.

Essie McCall, Vice-President of Outpatient Services for VOA, said the Buffalo/Johnson County office had served 79 clients this quarter, offering 815 hours of service to those individuals.

McCall said the Buffalo office is now fully staffed, and they have been able to get out and talk to community partners to discuss how to improve services.

They have attended Prevention Council meetings, talked with the Boys and Girls Club, and local schools to discuss how they can partner with each on needed services.

She reported that VOA is also meeting with Probation and Parole and Drug Court to help serve the community in those aspects as well.
