The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale at the Johnson County Library will be happening this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the library.
According to the library’s Facebook page, the sale will feature over 150 large print books. The library has received several large donations of both fiction and non-fiction large print books, which are suitable for everyone and not just to reduce eye strain. With fewer words per page, large print helps readers turn pages faster increasing engagement and helping them stay motivated while reading.
The library has many of these books and more available as well as DVDs.
Hardcover books are $2, paperbacks and DVDs are $1.
The book sale will be this Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to the public.
