Sheridan Commission Approves Rezone Request

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, during their regular meeting Tuesday, approved a rezone request for a property in the Downer Addition to change from C-2 Commercial to UR Urban Residential.

According to County Planner Mark Reid, WY Off Market Properties, LLC applied for the rezone and gave more details.

Commissioner Holly Jennings said she was excited to see more housing development in the area and was going to support the rezone request.

Commissioner Nick Siddle agreed, saying multi-family unit development there seems to be a good idea.

The commission voted to approve the rezone request.
