Museum at the Bighorns to Dedicate Gollings Statue

The Museum at the Bighorns will be holding two events this up-coming week. On Friday, May 16, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. will be “Behind the Scenes” at the Wyoming Room, Sheridan County Public Library.

Carrie Edinger, Museum Director, will share some of the WYO Room resources she used for the Gollings Statue dedication presentation and materials will be available for viewing at the Wyoming Room, Sheridan County Public Library.

Then on Saturday. May 17, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m., the museum will be partnering with Sheridan Public Arts at a dedication ceremony at Kendrick Park (at Burgess Bridge) for the relocation of the E.W. Gollings statue.

At the dedication event, attendees will learn about the history of the statue, the local artist, and Gollings artwork in the museum’s collection.

All are welcome to attend both events.
