JCSD1 Board Votes in New Members

Johnson County School District One trustees, at their meeting Monday night, voted in two new members to replace two that resigned last month.

Letters of Interest were submitted to the school board by Angela Bissett, Katie Engling. Tamatha Grabin, Ray Klein, Crystal Smith, and Katrinna Thomas.

Board President Travis Pearson explained how the process would proceed.

Nominations were taken from board members and then votes were taken with Katie Engling and Tamatha Grabin being selected.

They were sworn into their positions and took their seats on the board.

They will serve through 2026, when the next election for school board members happens.
