Sheridan Community Land Trust History Program Manager Kevin Knapp and Director of Marketing and Development Chris Vrba made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to speak on the upcoming SCLT Discovery Session: Unearthing Our Past.
Residents who take part in this unique Discovery Session will join a team of qualified archaeologists from Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., to conduct an archaeological survey of the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area.
Knapp said there were a few reasons the SCLT has organized this experience for the public.

The stone circle referred to would turn out to be much more modern but the initial investigation did yield indicators of prehistoric use by people. Knapp said the session will involve quick lessons by the archeologists to help the public understand what they are looking for and to know when and if they find it.
