Council to Consider Firefighters Contract

A one-year contract between the City of Sheridan and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local #276 is an item of consideration at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council meeting. A Collective Bargaining Committee, made up of Mayor Rich Bridger and Councilors Terry Weitzel, Jack Wood and Steve Brantz, met with the IAFF Local #276 for contract negotiations on April 15 and May 6. Mayor Bridger said the whole negotiating process went very well.

The Council will be receiving a seasonal flood plan mitigation update from Operations Superintendent Trai Bryant, and will consider a resolution for the final plat of the Riverstone Park Phase Two Subdivision. The Council meeting will take place Monday at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
