Sheridan County’s Commissioners awarded three scholarships to county high school students to continue their education.
Commission Chairman Lonnie Wright announced that Aubrey Butler, Levi Mendenhall, and McKenna Smith were awarded scholarships.
Commissioner Holly Jennings and Commissioner Wright spoke highly of all the applicants and the recipients.
Each year the The Board of County Commissioners offers three $1,000 scholarships ($500 per semester) for all Sheridan County high school graduates to apply for to use at the University of Wyoming or any Wyoming Community College.
