Sheridan Community Land Trust Director of Conservation John Graves and the Bighorn Fence Initiative is inviting the community to join them as they complete the first phase of a wildlife friendly-fencing project to make the SCLT Big Goose Natural Area more friendly for wildlife, such as mule deer and white-tailed deer, while maintaining good fences for ranching operations.
Supported by the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund, this project is part of SCLT’s work stewarding the Big Goose Natural Area on the edge of the City of Sheridan, ensuring it remains open, accessible, and working for generations to come.
SCLT Director of Marketing and Development Chris Vrba said SCLT appreciates all the help that volunteers can give to ensure the natural area allows wildlife to come and go while protecting livestock.
