The Clearmont Town Council held a public hearing and special meeting on Tuesday, May 27.
Engineers James Staebler and Craig Shavlik of KL&A Engineering, presented the preliminary design of the proposed water main replacement along Meade Ave. The lines were installed in the 1980s, and the work along Meade Ave could be done in conjunction with planned work being done in the summer of 2026 by WYDOT. This project may quality as an Equivalency project and the interest rate for the town loan would drop.

Clerk Kirstie Auzqui mentioned that Meade Avenue should have a good, asphalt surface on it after the project is finished.
Once the engineers presentation was over, Auzqui explained about the funding, based on the current estimates for the project.
Three community members attended the meeting, but there were no comments on the proposed project.
