Paul Del Rossi and Security State Bank Sheridan Market President Dylan Crouse made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss the mural that will be unveiled for the community on June 18.
Del Rossi had the desire to bring the Woolworth Building, located at 171 N. Main St. in downtown Sheridan, back to life. As the Museum at the Bighorns works to renovate the interior, Del Rossi saw an opportunity in that vision to create a new piece of art for the Sheridan community.

The only direction offered by Del Rossi on the design of the mural was to ensure it captured the values of Northern Wyoming and Sheridan. Conceptualized by Sheridan artist Joel Ostlind, the mural will be painted by Buffalo based artist Lisa Norman. The large 10 ft. by 66 ft. mural will be the result of a large collaboration between a committee formed by Del Rossi, the artists and funded by Security State Bank.
Crouse, who also works with the Downtown Sheridan Association, said when he met with the team behind the mural, he felt the mural is a sound investment.
