During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Johnson County Commission Chairman Bill Novotny informed the public as to the reason road crews have had to close a popular recreation location while work is being completed.
Three weeks ago, Johnson County announced a full closure of Crazy Woman Canyon to all traffic, including pedestrian, automobile and bicycle access, which will be effective from June through September of this year.
The Johnson County Commission Chair said unfortunately this closure is necessary to ensure public safety and facilitate two major bridge replacement projects.
