The budget for fiscal year 2026 that begins on July 1 is an item that the Sheridan City Council will be considering at their business meeting Monday night. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger says it’s a long, thorough process to get to where they are now with the City’s budget.
Prior to consideration of the budget resolution, there will be a public hearing on the budget and certification of the City’s Mill Levy. The Council will also be considering final reading of an ordinance amending Chapter Nine of City Code regarding courts, fines, and imprisonment. Monday’s City Council meeting will take place at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
